REDCap extraction form

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure, web-based platform designed for building and managing online surveys and databases for research studies.

Prior to extraction:

• Add your name and email address. You must confirm that you will accurately enter all the data to the best of your knowledge.
• Returning? If you have previously started to extract information from a paper, but were not able to complete the extraction, you should have been issued a RETURN CODE. To continue extractions with this form, hover the cursor over the “Returning” icon in the top right of the screen and click on “Continue the survey”. This will take you to a second screen where you can SUBMIT YOUR RETURN CODE, allowing you to continue the extraction.

Please note: in cases where more than 10 parameters were available for extraction, a second extraction form is required. You must click the box marked: “This entry is a continuation of a previous record” in the article extraction form. Do not click “Continue the survey” or input the previous RETURN CODE for these cases: this may result in erasure of your previous work.
