Please note

  • DO NOT use commas in any field. If you need to separate items within a field, please use a semi-colon.
  • Include as much information here as is available, even when there is a DOI.

Article extraction fields

  • PRESTO relevant study - the PRESTO study is run by Prof Christophe Fraser at the University of Oxford examining the estimation of vaccine efficacy and effectiveness using simulation. We agreed to flag any Nipah papers which involved a list of criteria relevant to their study e.g. contact tracing which we may not have extracted from. Ignore this box unless otherwise instructed by pathogen leads.
  • Continuation from previous record - The current REDCap form has an upper extraction limit of 10 parameters. In cases where there are more than 10, you will need to begin a new form, ticking this box and inputting the same article information. Do not click “Returning?” on the initial REDCap page: this is used to access incomplete forms, not to create an additional parameter form).
  • Covidence ID - input the paper ID generated by the Covidence systematic review tool.
  • First author (first name or initial and surname) - copy and paste this from how it’s recorded in the paper.
  • Title - same as above.
  • DOI - note that older papers won’t have a DOI.
  • Journal name, year of publication, volume, issue - as described by the text.
  • Page numbers (first and last) – if available. These may not be available in modern online-only journals; do not extract "e" page numbers.
  • Paper copy available - yes/no.
  • Is this a pre-print? - this is only relevant to OROV review where preprints are included.
