# Response to Issue #1 Comment

## Question
@retog asked: "why two PRs? Does #3 supersede #2?"

## Answer

Both PR #2 and PR #3 were created within seconds of each other (at 09:52:40 and 09:52:43 respectively) to address the same issue (#1). They both implement the on-demand file merge feature with nquads/ntriples endpoints.

### Key Differences

**PR #2** (`copilot/add-on-demand-file-merge`)
- 5 commits
- 604 additions, 68 deletions
- 8 files changed
- Last updated: 10:16:44
- More comprehensive implementation

**PR #3** (`copilot/add-on-demand-file-merge-again`)
- 4 commits
- 334 additions, 57 deletions
- 6 files changed
- Last updated: 10:11:24
- Smaller implementation

### Recommendation

**PR #2 appears to be the more complete implementation** with:
- More code changes (604 vs 334 additions)
- More files modified (8 vs 6)
- A later final update timestamp

PR #3 does not supersede PR #2. Instead, it appears that both PRs were created simultaneously (possibly due to a system issue), and PR #2 continued to receive more updates and is the more complete solution.

### Suggested Action

I recommend:
1. **Reviewing and potentially merging PR #2** as it contains the more comprehensive implementation
2. **Closing PR #3** as it's a duplicate with less complete changes

Both PRs implement the same feature requirements from issue #1, but PR #2 has the more thorough implementation.
