I belive xteve is deprecated. Why don't you have a look at github.com/Threadfin/Threadfin |

Many users still uses xteve so do I. Don't get me wrong, threadfin is good, but xTeVe just works fine. |

Switch to new downloadFileFromServer function implementation.
In old implementation download fails if server returned 301 HTTP status code. New implementation correctly maintain 301 status code, so file will be downloaded.
