I have been working on PyO3 since 2019 and love to be building a tool that's so useful for so many. The Python software ecosystem continues to celebrate Rust tooling and projects as much-loved building blocks of the modern Python stack.
As well as PyO3 I work directly on pydantic and closely with many other key projects including cryptography, polars, maturin and many others who come to the PyO3 GitHub with ideas and questions.
