Hi, I'm Fred. Builder, indie hacker, Swiss Army knife. Belgian.

Ten-plus years coding solo at night — hundreds of hours, most of it never shipped. Not failure. Training. In 2015 I co-founded a transport company in Belgium and built one of the first online booking platforms for on-demand transport in the region. It ran for four years, survived COVID, and still runs today.

By day I'm an IT Program & Operations Manager. The rest of the time, I build.

What I'm working on:
GAAI (Governed Agentic AI Infrastructure) — an open-source governance framework that turns AI coding tools into reliable agentic systems. A .gaai/ folder at the root of your project. No magic, no custom tooling — markdown files and constraints that your AI agent reads before touching anything.

4 layers: dual-track agents (think ≠ do), skill-based execution, persistent memory, and a full decision trail.

The test: I ran GAAI on Callibrate, an AI expert matching marketplace. 176 stories shipped, 177 decisions documented, 84,000 lines of TypeScript across 7 Cloudflare Workers — governed from day one. 458M tokens (96.9% cache reads).

The framework was born during a 6-week digital detox in Vietnam — no laptop, just an iPhone 8, research papers, and the question nobody was asking: not "how do I code faster with AI?" but "how do I make agentic coding reliable?"
