We actively support the following versions of Xell Wallet with security updates:

Reporting a Vulnerability

We take security seriously. If you discover a security vulnerability, please follow these guidelines:

How to Report

DO NOT create a public GitHub issue for security vulnerabilities.

Instead, please report security issues by emailing: [INSERT SECURITY EMAIL]

Include the following information:

  • Description of the vulnerability
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Potential impact assessment
  • Any suggested fixes (if available)

What to Expect

  1. Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours
  2. Initial Assessment: We will provide an initial assessment within 5 business days
  3. Regular Updates: We will keep you informed of our progress
  4. Resolution: We aim to resolve critical issues within 30 days

Responsible Disclosure

We follow responsible disclosure practices:

  • We will work with you to understand and resolve the issue
  • We will not take legal action against researchers who follow this policy
  • We will publicly acknowledge your contribution (unless you prefer to remain anonymous)
