What have I done?

Homelab

This is my homelab/self-hosted environment. This is where I build, learn, and explore. My homelab journey started around 2016 when a co-worker gave me his hand-me-downs after he upgraded his. Started with a SilverStone SG05 with an AMD A8-3870K and 8GB of RAM. I now run a UniFi stack in a 15u rack and a converted old PC in a 2U chasis with an Intel i5-12600K and 32 GB of RAM.

Marathoner

I started running in 2018 when a co-worker suggested that we do something active since we sit around all day at work. My first run was 3.6 miles and took about 51 minutes to finish... that's about a 14 minute/mile pace. Now I can run almost 8 miles in that same amount of time.

Homegymer

I started builing a homegym during the covid years. With the gyms shut down I needed a place to continue my workouts. I started with what I could find available... the cheapest lightest adjustable dumbbells and resistance bands from walmart. I slowly built up and added on as I saved money and as equipment became available. Eventually buiding out a fully customized power rack and functional trainer.
