hi i recently force pushed on the git history, which had the unintended consequence of closing all open PRs. sorry about that. if you would still like to contribute this pr, please re-fork the repo (or create a new branch from the current upstream) and reapply the changes. if you don't want to, you can just reply here and i will recreate it myself later on. |

This pr adds support for light mode via media queries. Colours have been "chosen" by inverting the brightness value where appropriate.
