System Requirements

Minimum Hardware

  • Video Card: Intel UHD or Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU, or equivalent
  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5, Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM

Recommended Hardware

  • Video Card: Intel Iris Xe or Intel Arc integrated GPU, or equivalent
  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 7, Intel Core i7, AMD Ryzen 7, or equivalent
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

Quanser Interactive Labs for MATLAB

Quanser Interactive Labs is used as the Simulation platform for all provided examples. Download, install, and launch Quanser Interactive Labs from within MATLAB®.

Quanser Interactive Labs (QLabs) is a hardware-inspired, scalable way to bring credible, high-fidelity interactive lab experiences to students in blended, hybrid, or remote laboratory configurations. QLabs delivers a collection of virtual hardware-based laboratory activities that can supplement traditional or online courses. The virtual hardware is based on industry leading Quanser physical systems and offers academically appropriate experiences offline on desktops and laptops on and off campus.

Getting Started

Ensure that the libraries/urdf folder is added to Matlab path with subfolders for complete functionality.

  1. Browse to the quanser_mathworks_labs directory from MATLAB.
  2. Run setup.m to add libraries to MATLAB path.
