…ables https://perconadev.atlassian.net/browse/PS-10260 When expand_fast_index_creation is enabled, ALTER TABLE statement performs some optimisations (removes secondary indexes, copies data and re-creates secondary indexes) on the intermediate table. Some of these operations are done in place and most of the ALTER TABLE statements involving partitioned tables can not be performed inplace and in turn, they fail when attempted. So, the optimisations of expanded fast index creation are being disabled if the table involved has partitions.
