The goal of this milestone is to add the transcoding job requests, assignment, claiming, and verification interface + stubbed implementation to the protocol. At the conclusion of this milestone nodes will be able to submit job requests, and the contract will be able to verify that they have been completed by the assigned transcoder for use in the reward function for token minting or slashing.
No due date•8/8 issues closedAs per the [Roadmap]() the goals for this milestone are... * Livepeer Token * Protocol Smart Contract with protocol parameters and initializer * Bonding/Unbonding * Transcoder election rounds * Reward function and associated transcoder state tracking At this point nodes in the network could presumably go through the full process of delegation, transcoder election, and reward function invocation. Essentially this would be the MVP for stake based token distribution without slashing.
