Ricoh MP 2014 Scan to folder setup, M 2700, M2701.How to configure scan to folder2014

See the following youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q951IsCy3ac Next enable:

  1. enable SMB 1.0

How to anable SMB 1.O:

To enable SMB1 on Windows 10, search for "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Start menu, select the option from the search results, find and check the box for SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support, and click OK to install the feature. You will likely need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Step-by-step instructions: Open Windows Features: Search for "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Windows Start menu and select the matching option to open the window. Locate SMB 1.0/CIFS Support: Scroll down the list in the "Windows Features" window to find SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Enable the feature: Check the box next to it to enable all related features. Install and restart: Click OK to install the feature, then click Restart now when prompted to complete the process. Important Considerations: Security Risks: SMBv1 is considered insecure due to known vulnerabilities. It's highly recommended to avoid enabling SMB1 unless absolutely necessary for compatibility with very old systems. Security Measures: If you must use SMB1, consider isolating systems that require it to specific, controlled network zones to prevent potential lateral spread of malware. Alternatives: For long-term solutions, consider using virtualization, modernization, or replacing legacy applications and systems that rely on SMB1.

Other solutions:

  1. Enable network discovery
  2. white list for folder
  3. uninstall antivirus
