The root .gitignore does not currently include entries for website or guides artifacts—only the nested website/.gitignore covers these files (dist/, .astro/, node_modules/, etc.) source source. The described consolidation (merging website into the root .gitignore for unified management) has not yet occurred, so web artifacts remain unignored at the top level. For unified management, consider updating the root .gitignore to include website/guides build artifacts. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do?
