The front page definitely looks better: more compact, more consistent, and fast :)

First phase of #373
Try to make a stronger first impression. Change the top hero (center on Haskell and motivation), support the claim (Enjoy long-term maintainable software you can rely on) with 3 additional Haskell strengths. (See the issue for justification)
I am a bit biased, so the copy leans on an Industry-side of things (words like "production"). In my proposal, it's balanced with further improvements and changes in other areas, but suggestions are welcome.
