CrashMail II is a Fidonet tosser with JAM messagebase support.
It can process FTN packets, maintain message areas, and handle
message routing for Fidonet networks.
Features ASO (Amiga Style Outbound) mode for compatibility with
classic Amiga FidoNet mailers. To enable ASO mode, add "ASO" to
the Flags section in crashmail.conf. Includes sign extension fixes
in JAMLIB for cross-platform compatibility.
Includes CrashEdit, a full-featured FTN message editor with area
management, message reader, ANSI art viewer, and file request
capabilities.
Tested on FreeBSD 15.0 amd64
