IMG files can be flashed to USB, and ISO files both to USB and CD/DVD-ROM. IMG files should be used when wanting to customize ShredOS (autonuke setups, specific kernel parameters, ...) or otherwise needing the PDF reports generated by ShredOS. All versions boot from BIOS and UEFI, as well as Ventoy. If you do not need the Unraid-specific features, use the upstream ShredOS releases instead.
