本指南是Visual MINTEQ(VM)的软件入门指南,以v3.1版本为基础,重点在于介绍基础水化学知识,并以VM为工具进行水化学的基本计算。本指南力求简洁明了,操作性强,不求全不求深,如需更加全面和深入的软件介绍及水化学知识请参照软件官方使用说明和水化学教材。有任何建议、谬误或问题请咨询作者(邮箱:daizhaoyi@cug.edu.cn)。 VM软件主要以地表水和地下水的水化学模拟为主,需要注意的其优势、特点或不足简要列举如下: • 适用于常温常压(25 ℃, 1 atm),如果有较高温的场景需求,也可在数据库中输入焓变,但是精确度和温度适用范围可能不够; • 可以进行多问题求解,方便进行作图,也方便研究某因素对体系平衡的影响; • 在不同的离子强度范围内要选择合适的活度系数计算模型,离子强度与活度节有详细介绍。
This is a manual for dummies for the Visual MINTEQ (VM) software (version v3.1). This manual is trying to introduce VM via solving basic solution chemistry problems and discuss solution chemistry concepts using VM. This manual tries to be easy and concise, instead of comprehensive nor deep. If the audience needs more information about VM and basic solution chemistry concepts, please refer to the software manual and professional textbooks. Please contact the authors (email: daizhaoyi@cug.edu.cn) if you have any suggestions, corrections, and questions to make. VM is speficifically designed for surface and groundwater simulations. One should note: • It is applicable to room temeprature and pressure (25 ℃, 1 atm). The enthalpy (that can be added in the database) can be used to extend it's temperature range, but be cautious about its accuracies; • It can run multiple problems which is easy for plotting and examining the impacts of a certain factor on solution chemistry; • Diffrent thermodynamic models should be picked at different the ionic strengths, which has been discussed in this manual.
