Over the years, Perspective has grown from an experimental tool into a helpful solution for thousands of partners, including major publishers and platforms. Together, we have demonstrated the vital role machine learning plays in fostering healthier online dialogue. But AI capabilities have evolved, and there is now less demand for a standalone tool specific to this area. Jigsaw’s mission also continues to evolve to address new challenges, so we have made the decision to sunset the Perspective API. The API will no longer be in service after 2026, and we will not be offering direct migration support. **What this means for you:** - **Timeline:** The API will remain active for the next year to allow time for transition. - **New Usage:** Effective approximately one month from this announcement, we will stop allowing new usage and stop approving requests for increased quotas. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for your commitment to supporting online conversation. The Perspective API Team
