This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev

yarn dev

pnpm dev

bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.

This project supports browser/device notifications using the Web Push standard.
Run this once:
npx web-push generate-vapid-keysCreate .env.local and set:

CRON_SECRET=your_strong_random_secretDeadline reminders are exposed at:

Protect this route with either:
Authorization: Bearer <CRON_SECRET>x-cron-secret: <CRON_SECRET>
Use this route with either header:
Authorization: Bearer <CRON_SECRET>

This repository includes a workflow at:
.github/workflows/deadline-reminders.yml
It runs every 15 minutes and calls your deployed endpoint.
Add these GitHub repository secrets:
APP_URL=https://your-production-domain
CRON_SECRET=the-same-secret-from-env
Notes:
- Keep
CRON_SECRETin both Vercel environment variables and GitHub secrets. - Do not include a trailing slash in
APP_URL. - You can also run the job manually from the Actions tab using
workflow_dispatch.
