- Disclaimer
Nacto, or the full naming, OprSys Nacto, is a simulated operating system environment, which takes a UNIX-like approach. Nacto is not a real operating system, but a simulator.
Nacto is a hobby-project. It exists for entertainment, to show OS concepts, and simply enjoyment to make and develop.
Nacto's user-facing side (i.e., what you see in the simulation) is meant to be realistic according to real low-level computers. That means, that any mistake can be fatal. Nacto is designed to be somewhat difficult to use. It will not hold your hand, akin to how Arch won't either.
Nacto is highly unstable. It currently, as of now, has no version. Nacto is still in-development, and the ABI for it has barely been made.
