A curated collection of wallpapers colorized to match the OneDark GTK theme.
Some created by me 🤗, others sourced from various platforms.
I'm using the color palette from joshdick's onedark.vim repo as I believe it best represents OneDark:
For darker tones I use Atom One Dark 2 grey colors. These greys feel most faithful to OneDark ^
Here's an example of OneDark applied to a non-OneDark image (processed with ImageGoNord):
It retains a lot of detail, while subtly shifting the coloursheme.
For more minimal images with less colour, the change is much more apparent:
In this ^ case, IGN was a bit off the mark, so I'd probably touch it up by making the bg blue again.
Wallpapers featured in this collection come from:
- r/unixporn Discord wallpapers channel
- This (now archived) Gruvbox collection (via Wayback Machine)
- The archived Catppuccin wallpaper repo (via Wayback Machine)
- The Nordic wallpapers repo
Many wallpapers were processed through the OneDark filter of ImageGoNord from various Imgur dumps. All images are at least 1920×1080 , with some as large as 5K.
Have OneDark-colorized wallpapers you'd like to contribute? Let me know! Alternatively, if you'd like me to create a custom wallpaper (minimal style, OS-specific, WM-themed, etc.), feel free to open an issue with your request.
- Fix the showcase gallery
- Fix all minimal/os/program walls (gimp bg colour does not take the exact hex value. Please make a PR if you know how to fix this!!!)
- Add more wallpapers!!!
- Replace IGN with tint
