Creating a New MySQL Database

NOTE: It is always better to have individual databases and database users for each application you install on your web host

1. The 'Databases' section in Cpanel

Open the Databases section in CPanel, select the MYSQL Database Wizard

2. Creating the New Database name

Type in the name of your New Database, then click Next Step

3. Creating a New User for the new database

Now you will need to create a new user for the new database.

• Type in your desired Username
• Type in a secure password in both password fields or Click on the Password Generator to have one created for you.
• Then click Create User to create the new user.

Make sure you copy the password to a safe location as you will need to supply this when installing MyIT CRM.
