Single-instance guard — second launch shows "Please close the existing instance..." instead of spawning a duplicate
Atomic config save + .bak on corrupt JSON (no data loss)
Update tray split: always-visible "Check for updates" + status field "No updates yet" / clickable "Update available: vX.Y.Z" → releases page; startup + 24h checks with dedup
Light/dark-aware tray icon, CLI --version/--config/--help, installer rollback verification
CI now publishes SHA-256 .sha256 alongside the exe; version bundled consistently

Note on antivirus false positives: v1.1.5.0 has been whitelisted by Microsoft. v1.1.6.0 was submitted to Microsoft Defender (WDSI) as a false positive, but definition updates take time.
