Please note that from now on releases of OpenCAGE are only available via Steam - the non-Steam installs of OpenCAGE are no longer supported due to the growing complexity of the toolkit.

If you have previously installed via ModDB/GitHub/Nexus, you will need to re-install via Steam. You will not lose any modifications!

  • Reworked interface to embed the level viewer
  • Composite browser can now have composites dragged onto the nodegraph to add a new entity
  • Added a new 'functions' entity browser which can be used to drag new function entities into the nodegraph
  • Added 'Search' window as an embeded panel
  • Added new options to search to allow searching within current composite
  • Added support for previewing material remappings within the level viewer (support for editing these is still a WIP)
  • Updated behaviour tree editor to fix a variety of enums and missing node parameters (also covered via the docs site!)
  • Added support for vertex/diffuse colours per-entity in the level viewer
  • Integrated Render Filters as a new panel
  • Added support for launching multiple OpenCAGE instances for different game installs
  • Added highlighting of proxies in level viewer (with option. like alias highlighting)
  • Added a preview for GCIP entites
  • Fixed a variety of edge cases where alpha would render incorrectly in the level viewer
  • Fixed a crash when deleting composites in Browser mode
  • Fixed an issue with PKG population
  • Fixed a frequent crash with 'GetEntityName'
  • Large rework of settings manger (may reset some preferences)
  • Level viewer options can now be found within the Options dropdown
  • Various optimisations for the level viewer on load and select of entity
  • Fixed various other bugs with the level viewer
  • Deprecated support for non-Steam installs of OpenCAGE
