We focus on:
- Open research data: Foster high quality research via pulbication of open data and code to ensure research reproducibility.
- Data visualization: Creating interactive visualization tools that make complex datasets easy to understand and explore.
The KID team designs, builds, and maintains data systems that support KRI’s mission to deliver transparent, data-driven insights for policy, research, and public engagement.
Our work spans backend data engineering, open-data platforms and analytics.
As part of KRI’s commitment to open knowledge, the KID team aims to:
- Develop transparent and accessible data resources for public use
- Translate raw data into actionable insight through visualizations and analytical tools
- Publish reproducible code, documentation, and best practices whenever possible
- Foster a culture of open collaboration within the civic-tech and research communities
