This year we tackled some issues regarding the clarity of the SAF. We had a workshop and decided to refactor the SAF Grid.
Basically we merge the logical and functional domain into a conceptual domain and separate the viewpoints by their black or whitebox characteristic, which is much more useful for framework users and less confusing.
#59 and #139 are the main github issues.
To allow users to follow the development of SAF at their pace, snapshot branches named "PreRefactor2026" have been created on the SAF specification and the SAF implementations for modeling tools. This snapshot branches keep the old grid Layout, while this PR applies the new grid layout, and subsequent stereotype names and diagram names and so on to main.
Further development happens on main, the PreRefactor2026 is a legacy branch.
