A system-level KiCad schematic describing the complete electronics architecture and subsystem interconnections of the BLESS hardware.
This repository contains the general KiCad schematic for the BLESS electronics system.
Unlike the individual PCB repositories, this project is focused on the system-level electrical architecture. It shows how the different electronic subsystems are connected, powered and organized within the complete hardware design.
The schematic acts as a central reference for understanding the full system before going into each dedicated PCB design.
The main goal of this schematic is to provide a clear overview of the complete electronics architecture.
It is intended to help with:
- Understanding subsystem interconnections.
- Documenting the global electrical design.
- Tracking interfaces between different PCBs and modules.
- Reviewing the full signal and power architecture.
- Supporting integration and debugging.
- Keeping a single reference for the complete system design.
The schematic covers the main electronic blocks of the system, including:
- Main controller / flight computer.
- Power regulation and distribution.
- Environmental sensing.
- Pressure sensing.
- Data storage.
- Ethernet communication.
- Wi-Fi HaLow communication.
- RF characterization chain.
- Heater control.
- External connectors and interfaces.
This schematic is connected to the individual PCB repositories used in the hardware architecture:
Additional subsystem repositories may be added as the hardware design evolves.
