Don't bite me please, but I've implemented Yggdrasil in Rust

Dear sir or madam :)

I have a new implementation of Yggdrasil in Rust since February 10 2026. Please, don't be mad.
The most important goal is to keep it compatible with your "reference implementation" of course. But I've added several functionalities like CKR, setting DNS on Windows, simple stateful firewall...

I've thought about how to write you about this, but I feared that you'll not like this, so my brain kept forgetting about this.

Just for the record, alternate implementations are fine, I'd only ask that you try to direct users to that repo for any issues/support if possible.

I realize ygg hasn't had a breaking change in a while now, but I do have plans that require backwards incompatible changes at some point. So do be aware that you'll need to either play catch-up when v0.6 is ready, or stick with the v0.5 protocol and essentially fork things at the network level.

I'm okay with playing catch-up, will try my best to have it always compatible with Yggdrasil-go.
