xmrig-amd64 causing BSOD on latest amd driver (21.5.2) for amd radeon rx580

I've tried updating the AMD driver, wipe and reinstall, using various versions of the xmrig-amd client, and it continually crashes with a BSOD on windows 7 x64 when mining cryptonightr algorithm.
