Takes a while to recognize mouse, then has delayed input

My mouse isnt reliably picked up, so i have to type /rescan more than once, and when it finally connects, movement is really delayed

I will try to fix the mod from now on. I couldn't get Minecraft 1.8.9 to work for a while so wasn't able to maintain it but now I can
