Saturn - Launching MGL with a cd_bios.rom inside a game folder bugs up the core

Doing above sends back to boot screen that gets stuck in the "Checking Disk..."prompt. The controller feedback to both the core and menu GUI is completely lost during this, forcing me to hardboot.

I had one instance where the core launched as intended from the MGL-file but the issue seems to have cropped again. Trying to see if there's a consistent way to reproduce it. Hope this isn't an SD-card related issue...
