Improve showHUD API to better integrate with Linux desktop notifications #1144

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I was wondering what your thoughts are on slightly changing the behavior of the showHUD API.
The current implementation, which I assume is inspired by Raycast, can feel a bit out of place at times.
Describe the solution you'd like
Use notify-send, or possibly communicate directly over D-Bus, so that it integrates better with the user’s existing desktop setup.
