Is it possible to skip the 140 character limit in tweets?

I really love this app, but this limitation really annoys me.
Pingviini doesn't seem to have this issue.

Is it possible to skip this character limit?

I know where to fix it for sending tweets qml/tweetian-harmattan/NewTweetPage.qml:131 but I have not found where the incoming tweets are truncated yet.
