Steam keyboard not working on Desktop Mode

Describe the bug

When I try to write something with the Steam Keyboard on desktop mode, it's like the window where Iḿ writing to "looses priority". I need to click on the window and the keyboard button at the same time for me to write a character.

What did you expect to happen?

Writing something on the window, terminal, etc. when I click on a keyboard button.

Extra information or context

It's a clean install and it's in the newest version as of the creation of the ticket. It's also on the bazzite-deck:stable branch.

Same issue, same device, newest update and still not resolved for me after nearly 6 weeks now. I reckon I may as well use SteamOS or Cachy at this point if the fix will end up being to completely wipe our systems fresh.
