ASUS GX551R Realtek HD Audio device not detected or installed #4560

Describe the bug
The default sound device is the Ryzen sound output. I cannot install the driver or HD audio codecs for the Realtek device. To be fully clear this is the 2021 ASUS Zephyrus Duo SE. The only way to get clear audio out of the laptop is to turn the volume to 100%, otherwise the sound is very muddied. Also the subwoofers are not being used.
What did you expect to happen?
I expected the realtek audio driver to be installed and functional.
