Trademark and brand policy

Software license

Kota0 source code in this repository is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. See NOTICE for attribution requirements.

The Apache License does not grant trademark rights.

ThoughtPivot and Kota0 marks

"ThoughtPivot", "Kota0", and associated logos (including files under logos/) are trademarks of ThoughtPivot, Inc. You may not use these marks in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without written permission.

Permitted uses aligned with Apache 2.0:

  • Referring to the project by name when describing that you use or modify Kota0
  • Reproducing LICENSE/NOTICE text as required by the license

Do not alter logo geometry or colors except uniform scaling where documented.

Third-party client marks

Some slide and demo materials reference client logos documented in docs/client-assets.md. Those marks remain the property of their respective owners. The repository currently ships a manifest only; do not add third-party logo binaries without rights to redistribute them.

Forks and white-label products

You may fork and rebrand the software under Apache 2.0. Replace ThoughtPivot and Kota0 branding in your product UI and marketing with your own marks unless you have permission to use ours.
