I added these metadata to my website

  <meta property="og:title" content="{{ site.title }}">
  <meta property="og:type" content="website">
  <meta property="og:url" content="{{ site.url }}">
  <meta property="og:description" content="{{ site.description }}">
  <meta property="og:image" content="{{ site.touch_icon }}">

NOTE: site.touch_icon cannot be relative url

This would allow for link preview in discourse, facebook, twitter and other website to work.
