Hi, I downloaded the new version and went to install it. I'm getting a notarization error and it won't install unless I override it.

That's very strange. I explicitly notarized it, a burdensome and tiresome process. Will look into it.

It seems that after previously accepting the app as notarized and ready for distribution, Apple revoked the notarization for one reason or another, perhaps because the ScriptExec binary that is bundled with the app as a data payload is not signed and this was only caught in their postprocessing pipeline. But this is sheer guesswork on my behalf!

Rest assured that the release app is not malicious. You'll just neeed to explicitly allow it to launch via Privacy and Security in Settings.

That being said, Platypus is open source. You can always build the app yourself.

Perhaps this should be added to the info on the website? Right now it conveys the feeling that the app will run just fine, which makes the annoying malware dialogue even more annoying.
