Preliminaries
I have ensured that:
- [✔️] I am running the latest version of Strongbox on the App Store by searching for Strongbox and clicking into it to see the Update button (or not)
- [✔️] I have performed a full restart of my device no matter how annoying that is
Versions
On macOS (please complete the following information):
Strongbox Version
Describe the bug
Strongbox's extensions (for both Chrome and Firefox) are non-functional in Kagi's Orion browser. The Chrome extension opens the interface and reports the database as existing and open, but it can't find any entries at all.
To Reproduce
- Install the Strongbox extension in Orion.
- Try to use Strongbox to autofill a login.
- Cry and go back to Safari?
Expected behavior
Extension working as in other browsers.
Screenshots & Recordings
(I tried to add a couple of screenshots but for some reason it's not working. They just show that Strongbox is showing "no entries" on a search for something I definitely have a saved login for.)
Additional context
Could be worth noting that Orion uses WebKit with added support for Chrome/Firefox extensions.
It would be great if you could try it out. Perhaps there's an easy fix, or perhaps it's really complicated and not worth your time. Orion looks very promising, and I would love to try it, but without Strongbox it's too much of a hassle.
