Firewall blocking latest connector version

I had been using the previous connector version with no issues. But wanted the latest version for the update to start GSPro V3 smoother. McAfee quarantines the MLM2PRo-GSPro-Connector.exe when trying to start. McAfee directs me to add the app in the Windows Defender. The Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security firewall settings lists the MLM2Pro app (current file) with 'allow' for the action. But McAfee still quarantines the file trying to start it. Has anyone had a similar issue resolved?
