To begin with, let us say that we are really grateful that you even thought about sponsoring us. ❤️
This is open-source project. As you can understand from the repositories, everything except user data is public and open to all. However, there are some practical limitations maintaining this project.

Know what you support

We require sponsorships for two things, both of which are hosting infra. We don't intend to spend sponsored money for personal gains or other projects. Everything that you sponsor goes back into zitefy.

The server

Our server is a droplet from DigitalOcean. The specs are:

• single core dedicated AMD CPU
• 25 GB nvme SSD
• 1 GB RAM

This droplet incurs a cost of $8/month, including taxes. We require sponsors to keep this up. Without this, the whole stack falls apart

Anthropic API credits

As you may be already aware, zitechef is basically Claude 3.5 Sonnet under the hood. We require credits for the Anthropic API to keep the default account active. In order to minimize costs, we've tried to allow users to use their own API keys. But in the likely scenario where most won't go to the trouble of getting their own API keys, we'd need more credits to keep this going. Sponsors are welcome to support this.

Keeping up the spirit

Our team currently consists of a broke jobless developer and his high school brother. 😆 Not that we plan to use your money for personal purposes, but any sponsorship to the project will lift our spirits to continue working on zitefy. It'll give us a sense of direction for the project to keep pushing forward.
