The term "citation" here means that like deepwiki asking AI when the AI generates each sentence or specific detail in its response, it inserts the corresponding references or sources in real time right after the relevant sentence—such as footnotes numbered like [1] or source links. This is rather than providing a bunch of irrelevant related references or a general list of sources uniformly at the end of the response.
