Hyphenated URLs for folder names that have spaces #54

Hey, Hmm, I assume there's a good reason why you can't just rename the directories, so I'll entertain it. There's no built-in way of achieving this, but I could come with some suggestions on how to get it to work. The standard setup will only apply it as an index, meaning that it'll only by served by the web server for actual existing directories. So, when a hypheneted URL gets requested, the web server will just assume that it's not a valid directory, and instead handle it as a non-indexable request. To solve this, I think you'll have to serve the Then you'll also have to make a slight adjustment to the Indexer as well. I think adjusting Line 166 in 1187501 This of course comes with some problems no matter what, as directories with actual hyphens will... get into some trouble, as they'll also be translated to having spaces instead of hyphens. I don't think there's a good way to get around that except to not have any directories with hyphens at all. This is all I can think of without having tested it myself, but hopefully it'll be of some help. |

Is it possible to have a URL for a folder named Exhibit A for example have the link
https://example.com/Exhibit-A
instead of
https://example.com/Exhibit%20A
I was able to change the url encoding but the indexer can no longer locate the folders and gives 'not found' error
