Packages for Debian 12 (Bookworm) and AlmaLinux 9

When releasing, could you please also provide Debian packages for the current Debian stable, aka Bookworm?
In particular if this is an automated process.

To a lesser extent (but I don't particularly care), for other current releases of other distributions, such as AlmaLinux 9.

I tend to dislike when tickets are closed regardless of the actual status of its subject.
Especially when it's still not solved months later...

@jwarnier what's the request here? Captagent is being phased out and we're focusing on newer agets. You're free to make a PR anytime if there's a specific release you need we might not support ourselves.

I'm stating a fact/reminding good practices: closing a ticket without any solution nor reason is not right. Why not keep it open until it is? Broken KPI or policies?

That being said, captagent being phased out is a valid reason, so it could have been mentioned, which would probably have been if it had been kept open.

I can certainly hear it, except that there was no way for me to validate any contribution in that specific topic, and to what end anyway, since there was no release happening?

@jwarnier commenting on years old issues is also not the bestest of practices 😉 I understand your points but most of the activity is community driven here. No other expectations or standards, we just try to keep the majority of our users happy. If that wasn't the case for you, sorry!
