Elite 64 Panels

Hi,

Great work you have done. Just been testing your code and works great to pull from my Elite 24 sites however a few sites have Elite 64 and I get
Banner: Elite 64 V6.05.03 got heartbeat Unknown panel type Elite 64 V6.05.03 - using large empty default done reads

Can I just add that into pialarm.py with return WintexEliteDecoder(banner, 64) or is it more complicated to support other versions of the panel?

You could try that, but you may also need to add a configuration for the number of zones. Details are read from memory addresses, one byte per zone, with another set of per-zone data at <base+zone_count>.

Hi! The size of the ram/eeprom space is probably larger, and I don't know the exact pattern of reads that Wintex will do. The memory map for a Elite24 is quite tightly packed, so the Elite 64 must have a very different layout for all the zones. Easiest is to run udl server only mode and connect wintex to see what it does, then replicate that logic to build up 'being a server' support.

I will give it a go myself without a panel and see if I can get the basics working. How are you connecting to the panel?
