Just wanted to quickly share gratitude for attention to detail

there is a partial border on the dropdown menu if it overlays elements with the same color (this is my interpretation of what happened, didn't research deeper!)

light mode seems logical (fixed border + shadow -> no need for dynamic partial border)

the project I noticed this on has default shadcn/ui implementaion and I believe is reproducible

• nextjs 16
• shadcn latest as of writing
• base ui, vega style, yellow color theme (modified bg colors to be true white/black)
• theme switcher is in position-fixed navbar using shadcn Dropdown
• rendered behind is a basic shadcn Card

would love confirmation if this is intentional or some kind of artifact, nonetheless it's a nice detail IMO!

EDIT: also my TailwindCSS v4 linter flags many warnings in some components with following

• duplicate classes used in same 'className'
• useless classes (one excludes the other)
• suggestions to overwrite some conditional/selector classes following new tailwind v4 syntax (not that important)
