Would it be possible to add jellyfin tag(s) to media that is requested? I have been looking through the API and believe it should be possible but I am not very well versed with coding.
The Jellyfin parental controls have never quite filtered everything properly (although they are much better now) but this may be a good fix for a lot of people.
Setting tags like this would allow people trying to curate their library for kids to go through their library and utilise the "Allow items with tags" section of Parental controls initially for their existing media. Then if this feature is implemented all subsequent media will also be added going forwards.
For example kid1 requests movie1 and you have the tag "kid1" defined in this proposed tag setting then it will be available for them but not kid2. If you wanted it to be available for kid1 and kid2 you could add tags "kid1" and "kid2".
Or indeed perhaps the inverse would be easier. Simply flag anything you don't want kids to see as "Adult" on your existing media ahead (using parental controls "Block items with tags" set to "Adult"). Then with this proposed feature, all subsequent requests from your Jellyseer account will be tagged appropriately going forwards. While anything they request on their own Jellyseer accounts would be unfiltered.
I hope that makes some kind of sense, please let me know if anything is unclear and I will try to clarify 😄
