We need a way to pull version information from the published releases (unless there's an endpoint I don't know about).

Once we detect a new release, we should run the build pipeline (build.sh) which also tests the images.

Once we're ready to ship a new image, we run publish.sh and update the README.

We also need to update the "overview" on both docker hub repos.

Github Actions already has actions for running bake.

It doesn't work yet but it's a pattern I've played with before. I'm really tempted to get rid of the templates.

Looking at your workflow and the dockerfiles, I would make the dockerfiles work with both arm and x86. This is easy to do with a bit of shell, then a workflow to build all the versions in a single run.

I can recommend kaniko which i use for building images.

@mhzawadi This repo already has support for both arm and x86 via bake. See:

Also, we can't support arm32 at all now with our mongo dependency so linux/arm/v7 won't work.
