joy-launch.py does not work

On ROS2 Jazzy on Ubuntu 24.04, ros-jazzy-joy package version 3.3.0-3noble.20251009.041603:

$ ros2 launch joy joy-launch.py
...
[ERROR] [launch]: Caught exception in launch (see debug for traceback): Caught multiple exceptions when trying to load file of format [py]:
 - TypeError: Node.__init__() missing 1 required keyword-only argument: 'executable'
 - InvalidFrontendLaunchFileError: The launch file may have a syntax error, or its format is unknown

Edited python scripts locally and it fixed the issue for me on Ros2 jazzy with Ubuntu 24.04. Thanks!

Hmm... After reboot 'ros run joy joy_node' is no longer picking up the gamepad. Verified that jstest does see the gamepad. Trying to determine what's changed to make it not work again.

Agreed. It could be that my initial issue was intermittent and modifying the scripts in /opt/ros/jazzy/share/joy/launch/ happened to coincide with something else deciding to work. I'm an ROS newbie, so not sure if the launch scripts are related at all to 'ros2 run joy joy_node'.

Trying to figure out how to debug ROS2 and joystick_drivers. Will report back here if I learn anything that might be related.

FWIW - the joy_linux package works perfectly. I'm going to use that instead.
